Nāgārjuna's Song

"This great horn of fixed notions
has destroyed your happiness;
Attachment to seemingly concrete objects
always cause people to suffer.
The things of experience have no real existence,
so how can birth, life or death,
like clouds gathering and swirling in the sky,
harm us or profit us in any way?
Likewise, how can the purity of mind's nature
be affected positively or negatively,
when both "knower" and "known"
are unfounded from the first?
Both are essentially empty as the stand!"
